Excise Cases:-

1. Bidar Rural PS. Cr.No. 170/2007 U/s 32 K E Act.

On reliable information of illegal transportation of arrack, Dy. S.P. (Prob.) and staff along with two panchas conducted a raid on 28-10-2007 at about 1500 hrs near Ambedkar chowk of Kamathana Village limits and trapped two accused persons 1. Hanmanth S/o Tukkappa Devappanor and 2. Prakash S/o Tukkappa Devappanor both R/o Kamathana Village and Seized 363 bottles of illegal arrack/liquor worth rupees 13,000=00.

In this connection a case in Bidar Rural PS Cr.No. 170/2007 U/s 32 K.E. Act. is registered against the two accused persons and investigation taken up .

Road Traffic Accidents:-

Non-fatal :-

1. Mannaekhelli PS. Cr.No. 165/2007 U/s 279, 338 IPC R/w 187IMV Act

On 28-10-2007 at about 2200 hrs on N.H. No. 9 near Talmadgi Bridge 12 K.M. away from Mannaekhelli PS. The accused driver drove his AUTORIKSHAW bearing Reg. No. KA-39/3933 in a rash and negligent manner and passed it on the complainant’s leg, as result of which Sudhakar S/o Mareppa Malchapure R/o Bhalki sustained bleeding injuries.

In this connection a case registered Mannaekhelli PS. Cr.No. 165/2007 U/s 279,338 IPC R/w 187 IMV Act and investigation taken up .

2. Humnabad PS Cr.No.382/07 U/s 279 IPC

The case is reported on 28-10-2007 at about 1030 Hrs. on the complaint of Police Sub-Inspector, Humnabad PS. In this case on 28-10-2007 at 0930 Hrs. while PSI with his staff were on patrolling duty on NH-9 near Fakir Tekada, Humnabad , they observed that the two accused drivers of the lorries (Ismail S/o Raheem Sab Nadduwale R/o Rajeshwar, Driver of lorry bearing registration No.AP-9/T-8567 & Shaik Ayub S/o Abdul Wahed R/o Beed (M.S.), Driver of lorry No.MH-23/2123) drove their lorries in a rash and negligent manner and met with an accident. A case was registered and Investigation taken up.

3. Basavakalyan Rural PS Cr.No.142/07 U/s 279, 427 R/w 187 IMV Act

On 28-10-2007 at 1630 the accused driver Wahed Miyan R/o Basavakalyan of lorry No.KA-38/114 drove his lorry in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bridge near the field of Sri.Devappa and ran away from the scene of offence.

in this connection the case is registered and investigation taken up.

4. Santhapur PS Cr.No. 100/2007 U/s 279,338 IPC R/w 187 IMV Act.

The case is registered On 29-10-2007 at 0215 hrs. On the road connecting Wadagaon-Koutha, 7 K.M. away from Santhapur PS, the unknown accused culprit drove his jeep in a rash and negligent manner and collided against the complainant Shri Nagashetty S/o Basappa Singate R/o Nagoor’s Motor cycle.

in this connection a case is registered and investigation taken up.


Gambling :-

1. Khatak Chincholi PS Cr.No. 103/2007 U/s 87 K.P. Act.

On Credible information about gambling in Chalakapur village, PSI and staff have conducted a raid on 28-10-2007 at about 2230 hrs and arrested the accused persons KashinathS/o Bandeppa Bettad and 3 others and seized 1900/- rupees.

In this connection a case in K. Chincholli PS Cr.No. 103/2007 U/s 87 K.P.Act is registered against the accused persons and investigation taken up.


Hurt :-

1). Humnabad PS Cr.No.381/07 U/s 324, 504, 506 R/w 34 IPC

The case is registered on 27-10-2007 at 1930 Hrs. on the complaint of Sri.Shanthkumar S/o Iranna R/o Top Galli, Humnabad. In this case on 27-10-2007 at about 1800 Hrs. the accused Mahadev S/o Kishanrao Telang and two others entered into the Garments shop of the complainant and threatened him with dire consequences abusing him in filthy language, assaulted him with a club resulting bleeding injuries.

2. Dhannura PS Cr.No.147/07 U/s 324, 323, 504 R/w 34 IPC

Reported on 29-10-2007 at about 0030 Hrs. on the complaint of Sri.Laxman S/o Hanmanth Kempe R/o Kon Melkunda. In this case the accused Pandit S/o Hanmanth Kempe and 3 others all R/o Kon Melkunda picked up a quarrel with the complainant in a land dispute, abused the complainant in filthy language and assaulted him with club resulting in bleeding injuries.


1. Manthala PS Cr.No. 145/07 U/s 323,324,504,506 IPC

The case is registered on 29-10-2007 at 0700 hrs. While the complainant’s wife was returning to her house with her son to Atlapur village on 28-10-2007 at about 1930 hrs the accused neighbours, Laxman S/o Gurunath Kamble R/o Atlapur abused her in filthy language assaulted her with hand and gave her a life threat.

in this connection the case is registered under Cr.No. 245/07 U/s 323,324,504,506 IPC and investigation take up.

Other Cases:-

2. Kamalangar PS Cr.No. 155/2007 U/s 323,341, 504, 506 R/w 34 IPC.

On 28-10-2007 at about 0730 Hrs in the field of Madnoor village 7 K.M. away from Kamalanagr P.S., accused persons 1. Naganath S/o Manmathappa Biradar and 2. Manmathappa Biradar both R/o Madnoor village, due to land dispute , abused the complainant Devendrappa S/o Gunavantharao Biradar R/o Madnoor Village in filthy language, assaulted and threatened him with dire consequences.

In this connection a case Kamalanagar PS under Cr.No. 155/2007 U/s 323,341,504,506R/w 34 IPC and is under investigation.

3. Aurad PS. Cr.No. 160/2007 U/s 341,323,504,506 IPC

On 28-10-2007 at about 2315 Hrs, near Vithal Koli Wooden shop, accused person Pradeep@Pintu S/o Madhukar Rao Pawar R/o Aurad had started a petty quarrel, he abused in filthy language, assaulted with hand and gave Rajkumar S/o Revanappa Kedare R/o Aurad, a threat to life
In this connection a case Aurad PS. Cr.No. 160/2007 U/s 341,323,504,506 IPC and taken up investigation.


4। Gandhi Gunj PS Cr.No. 216/07 U/s 109 Cr.P.C.

On 29-10-2007 at the time of Night sector duty PSI Gandhi Gunj with his staff , observed a suspicious person hiding near Mailur Cross before OMSAI STD, hiding his face after seeing the police Vehicle, with the view to committing cognizable offence. Therefore after an enquiry , preventive action was taken against him under Cr.No. 216/07 U/s 109 Cr.PC.
